Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the gardens and to meet new and interesting people. Whatever your talent, there is a volunteer opportunity available for you at Lakewold. Join us Saturday June 3rd at 1-m (after our Rhody Deadhead Party) to learn more about Lakewold Gardens and the various areas for volunteer service.
Orientation will last approximately 30 minutes, followed by an optional tour around the gardens. Volunteer applications will be available day of orientation, or can be filled out in advance by going to http://goo.gl/forms/8A8e0ujhzVrmhQWf2. All volunteers are required to apply and pass a background check prior to their first day of volunteering.

Description
Located in Lakewood, WA, Lakewold is a 10-acre non-profit public garden and National Historic Site. Lakewold offers landscape architecture by Thomas Church, unique Garden Rooms, a large collection of rare and native plants, State Champion trees, over 900 rhododendrons, and 30 Japanese maples.
Lakewold's Georgian style mansion and historic architecture complete the gardens, where visitors can step back in time to an elegant past or enjoy a relaxing moment to contemplate the future.
An inspirational experience where generations of family can discover common ground through the beauty of the garden.
