Hospice Volunteer Training in Adrian Missouri Thursday June 15th @ 6pm
- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
Hospice volunteers make a huge difference in someone’s life by simply being present. They provide support and companionship to patients and families in their homes and long term care facilities. As a volunteer, you can provide caregivers a short break and spend time with a patient playing cards, visiting, reading aloud or sharing your well-behaved 4 legged friend. Veteran volunteers also needed to visit patients who have also served. No nursing skills needed or personal care duties performed by volunteers. Hospice volunteering can be a meaningful and life-changing opportunity for anyone, even teens! We can do one on one training with you or gather a few people together from Harrisonville to be educated on hospice and the volunteer role. To learn more, schedule a time to meet or to arrange training, call Veronica Evans, Volunteer Manager 816-333-9200 or firstname.lastname@example.org
