Volunteering for the 49th Annual Everett Vinzant/John Cosnotti Memorial Junior Golf Tournament

The Everett Vinzant/John Cosnotti Memorial Junior Golf Tournament is coming up on August 5, 6 & 7. Most of you know all about it and are aware of the large number of volunteers it takes to make it work. As a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle and/or patron of Overland Park Golf and, more specifically, a core player that loves and understands the game, you are our first line of defense in mustering this group. We are hoping you can help us mostly in the area of walking with and scoring the Par 3 participants. We will need a scorer (marker) for each group we send out, somewhere around 40 to 48 per day for 3 days! Each "loop" you make will take approximately 2 hours. We will gladly accept one "loop" from you on one day only or give you all you can handle, 3 loops each day for 3 days. At this time we mainly need to round everyone up and know we are covered. Slots are subject to change. But please check your schedules if you are inclined to help. The tournament is held at Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Course, 12501 Quivira Rd., Overland Park, KS 66213.
