Rural Stearns Faith in Action provides services, both professional and volunteer, to help keep seniors stay in their homes as long as possible instead of needing housing with more assistance. Our volunteers provide transportation, friendly visitors, respite care, chore services, and home making. Our volunteers are a vital part of our success, and in turn, our clients success!
We are currently seeking a FRIENDLY VISITOR for a male client in FREEPORT.
Our friendly visitor volunteers provide something that is irreplaceable- companionship. It may seem like such a small thing, but it truly makes a huge impact. This client would benefit from a friendly visitor who could stop by once or twice a week to spend some time chatting. There is a dog present in this home. Address will be provided when volunteer service begins.
Volunteers must complete a background check and orientation before beginning service.

Description
Our program volunteers serve seniors and people with difficult life situations living in the rural communities of Stearns County with the ultimate goal of keeping people in their homes as long as possible. We do this through offering transportation, homemaking, chore services, home modification/repair, friendly visiting, respite care, and the list goes on.
