The We Honor Veterans Program involves the education of our staff and the community, special events honoring our Veterans for their service, and volunteering to serve our Veteran men and women.Kansas City Hospice and NorthCare Hospice offers a Veteran to Veteran volunteer program in which Veterans can serve in a multitude of ways; friendly patient visits, life review through our Lifetime Legacy Video program, making keepsake quilts for patients and their families, help with light housekeeping, and phone calls of support. Volunteers may also assist in Veterans Day services and other special recognition events throughout the year.

Peace of mind, comfort, guidance and expert care are what Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care brings to people of all ages and at any stage of serious illness.
Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care is a nonprofit organization offering a range of services for people of all ages and at any stage of serious illness. We've been providing comfort and care to the seriously ill and their families in the greater Kansas City area since 1980.
By providing both hospice and palliative care, we are able to assist patients and their loved ones at any time following a serious diagnosis. Hospice is provided when the focus is primarily on comfort; palliative care is provided when it is too early for hospice care and the patient may be seeking treatment aimed at cure.
