Massage Therapy (Nonprofit)
Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care
We are Kansas City’s hospice--local and nonprofit. We care for patients with advanced illness, and we are in great need of massage therapy volunteers willing to donate just a little time each month.
We are looking for certified MTs to give our patients gentle massages in homes, nursing homes, or at our Kansas City Hospice House or NorthCare Hospice House. You could even set a time frame each month for chair massage at the hospice houses.
Massage therapists must be licensed. Scheduling is very flexible with your availability--day, evening, weekend. You may provide anywhere from one massage a month to several massages a week, whatever you wish to do. We also try to match you with patients in your geographical area whenever possible.

Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care is a nonprofit organization offering a range of services for people of all ages and at any stage of serious illness. We've been providing comfort and care to the seriously ill and their families in the greater Kansas City area since 1980.
By providing both hospice and palliative care, we are able to assist patients and their loved ones at any time following a serious diagnosis. Hospice is provided when the focus is primarily on comfort; palliative care is provided when it is too early for hospice care and the patient may be seeking treatment aimed at cure.
