NHSSF will join forces with Hands on Miami to Rock Henry Mack K-8 School and West Little River Park on Saturday, June 10th. The event will bring volunteers to the West Little River neighborhood to make improvements to the school and transform an underutilized community park into a welcoming space which encourages reading, creativity, and friendship for students, residents and all those who use it. Some of the projects to take place include:

* Installing murals throughout the school
* Building and installing raised bed gardens
* Landscaping the entrance of the school
* Installing a literacy lounge at the park’s community center
