ORGANIZATION: Open Door Learning Center - Northside
Please visit the new page to apply.
Adult Basic Education Volunteer Teacher needed for ESL Story Reading class on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 10:00 am (choose one day/shift).
This is a popular class with our students. We select a short story from our library of Beginning ESL Reader books. Each story is accompanied by worksheets and activities. The hour is spent reading the story out loud as a class, and doing the activities that follow. Many of the students bring these stories home to practice, or read to their children. This is a 1 hour class that goes very fast, no prep time is required, no experience needed, and all training will be provided.
