Would you like to gain teaching experience and make a difference in the lives of your neighbors?
The Northside Open Door Learning Center is looking for Adult Literacy Classroom Assistants from 10am to 12pm or 6 pm to 8 pm, Monday through Friday (choose one day/shift per week).
Activities include helping adult ESL or GED students read low-literacy stories, complete worksheets, and do other literacy-related learning activities. Curriculum and materials are provided. No previous teaching experience or foreign language proficiency required. Training is provided.
Our students are highly motivated and grateful for your help. Join us in making a difference in the community!
