The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle has been selected as the nonprofit partner for Whole Foods Day of Giving. We need ambassadors to volunteer by spreading the word about Food Shuttle programs at various Whole Foods across the Triangle. Date/Times: Thursday, June 22nd Shift 1: 10 AM - 1:30 PM Shift 2: 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM Shift 3: 4:30 PM - 7 PM Locations: Whole Foods Market North Raleigh 8710 Six Forks Rd Raleigh, NC 27615 Whole Foods Market Raleigh 3540 Wade Ave Raleigh, NC 27607 Whole Foods Market Durham 621 Broad Street Durham, NC 27705 Whole Foods Market Chapel Hill 81 South Elliot Road Chapel Hill, NC 27514 Training: Training session will be Wednesday, June 14th at 1001 Blair Dr. Raleigh, NC 27603. We engage communities facing hunger to understand their unique needs and barriers. Then by building relationships and engaging our neighbors, we create programs and initiatives that meet specific needs, breaking the cycles of poverty, restoring dignity and improving the health of our community. We have served the seven counties of central NC for over 32 years and are a member of the Feeding America network of 200 food banks across the nation.
