Have you ever faced a time where you weren't sure where your next meal was coming from? Many in our own communities face this harsh reality. If you are looking for a way to help families receive food worry free, look no further than this opportunitiy.
Volunteers are needed to help set up and organinze the food shelf at the Lakewood/Maplewood location. Mondays-Fridays, 7 AM to 9 AM. Commitment of a weekly or monthly day, for 3 months, renewal negotiated and encouraged.

Description
The Salvation Army offers social services and recreational programs with the goal of addressing specific physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of each family, individual, child/youth, or elderly person. Services provided include, but not limited to: emergency food shelves, school supply programs, rental/utility assistance, educational programs, outreach to the homeless, family and youth camping, community center programs, Christmas assistance programs, nursing home visitations, corrections programs, and disaster services.
