Camp Assistants will get the chance to lead programs, assist with crafts and games, and so much more. They will learn valuable leadership skills. Volunteering for camp will look great on college applications! A camp assistant will volunteer during the week of camp selected and there will be no charge. Ages 15-18.
Duties & Responsibilities
Our camper/volunteers will assist with all aspects of the camp. If the camper/volunteer feel comfortable leading a program, he/she will have the chance to do so. Other activities for camper/volunteers include assisting with programs, getting supplies ready, leading games, and helping to ensure the safety of campers.
Volunteer Camp Hours & Rate
Volunteer hours are 7:45 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. No charge for the Camp Assistants.

There are always opportunities for volunteers to help out at the Sam Davis Home! From helping answer phones, helping school groups to dressing up in antebellum clothing at a large event - we have something for everyone!
