The Community Educator will represent The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors in engaging the public at community events in education about various issues including sexual assault, gender violence, healthy relationships, etc.
This position requires strong communication skills and the individual should be comfortable with public speaking. Must possess knowledge and understanding of issues of sexual assault and domestic violence. The Community Educator will have to complete a 32 hour volunteer training that specifically prepares you to become a community educator as well as other positions available to volunteers at the center. The Community Educator is required to work a minimum of one event per month.
