As a volunteer with St. Grace hospice you will be part of a team who recognizes and values the importance of providing the best quality of life care for terminally ill patients and their family. Every volunteer contributes in a valuable way to ur hospice team. Becoming a hospice volunteer is a unique and rewarding experience.
-As an Administrative Volunteer You will be working along side our office team by providing administrative services (for a minimum of 4 hours a month) such as clerical tasks,office duties, and helping with special projects such as writing birthday cards,etc.
-As a Patient care Volunteer you will be visiting patients and their families providing a few hours (a minimum of 4 hours a month) of your time for companionship, socialization, emotional support, activities relating to patients interests, etc.
In return you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in the hospice field. You will be able to network with the various disciplines that make up our hospice team like our Doctor, Nurses, social workers, Office administrators, Marketing, and Hospice health aids. We provide volunteer training and certificate of completion. Our Hospice provides care in the San Bernardino county, Riverside county, and Los Angeles county areas.

Description
St. Grace Hospice provides professional services whether at home or in a related facility where the patient resides. Hospice is a healthcare service designed for the special needs of an individual facing a life-limiting illness who chooses not to seek aggressive treatment for their condition. Support is provided to the patient, the patient’s loved ones, as well as the patient’s caregivers. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
