English/Writing Tutors Needed for Academically Motivated Students!

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona

  • 7 people are interested

All of the scholars in our program are academically motivated and have dreams of going to college.

We have many opportunities to become an English/Writing Tutor. We hope to set up a regular schedule of English tutors to help with the reading, writing, annotation, and general note taking required from many classes. English Literature, History, Seed of Wisdom, and more.

We generally ask people to sign up to help a single scholar which would be about 1-2 hours per week for a semester. If you're in need of more hours to fulfil a club or school requirement, we have plenty of scholars to work with!

Thank you very much and feel free to contact us if you have any more questions or are interested in this opportunity!

Description

Boys Hope Girls Hope is a non-profit, multi-denominational and multi-ethnic organization, which provides scholarships to meet all of the needs for academically capable youth who may be held back by invisible barriers within their families or community.

Our residential and community-based programs offer comprehensive services and support systems that nurture the self-confidence, discipline and focus required to test children's academic limits and allow them to achieve dreams they once thought were out of their reach.

All scholars receive full educational scholarships to private college-prep schools, mentoring, tutoring, access to multiple enrichment activities and support through college.
