Volunteer to clean up litter with us in business districts in Kansas City, Missouri. Working in pairs, we will document litter to discover what’s most often found around businesses. The data will be used to engage and educate businesses to improve the water quality of the Blue River by decreasing litter. This is a pilot program funded by the City of Kansas City, Missouri. Come be a part of this exciting new project! Exact locations TBD.
All volunteers will receive a snazzy "volunteer" t-shirt! We will provide litter grabbers, safety vests, trash bags and gloves.
Min age: 18 and older.
We may be able to arrange a special workday for corporate groups (or groups that meet our minimum age of 18) on a mutually convenient date.
To discuss options, contact Erin, Litter Abatement Program Manager, erin.bopp@bridgingthegap.org or 816-561-1061, ext. 145.
