Community Champions are strong advocates for building the Relay For Life event in the Dalles area. Individuals in this role are a voice and outward - facing champion for the Relay For Life of The Dalles. They are outgoing and willing to speak to groups and individuals about the RFL program, with the goal of bringing more exposure, people, and fundraising to the event. This can be in the form of new teams, survivors, caregiers, or invidiauls. They are strong advocates for the RFL movem,ent within The Dalles community by using their networks to bring more awaress to the event.
Specific Tasks can include:
- Recruit teams and individuals to join the RFL in The Dalles.
- Survivor and Caregiver recruitment.
- Sponsorship outreach and recruitment.
- Event Leadership recruitment and outreach.
Relay For Life of The Dalles is on August 5th, 2017.

Description
ACS provides patient services, education, and advocacy on cancer-related issues. In addition, the Society raises funds for cancer-related research. Fundraising events include Relay For Life, Bark for Life, and Strides Against Breast Cancer.
