Volunteers will help us to facilitate the festival in a variety of ways. Here are some of the ways you can help!

Festival Setup: Volunteers will help set-up tents, tables, and craft stations.

Trike Race Volunteers: Volunteers will help with water distribution, timing the race, and safety.

Fundraising: Volunteers will help sell and fill water balloons for onlookers to throw at racers. Volunteers will also collect money to support the mission of the Children’s Museum of Richmond. Volunteers must submit to a background check.

Festival Kid's Activities: Volunteers will assist with yard games, a bag hat/vest craft station, a photo booth, and the bubble zone.

Pit-Pass Kids' Activities: Volunteers will assist kid racers with various crafts.

Festival Cleanup: Volunteers will assist with cleaning up and breaking down the activities.

The Children’s Museum’s exhibits, activities, and programs are especially designed to serve the cognitive, developmental, and creative needs of children ages birth to 8.

We value learning. We have respect for all children and their amazing abilities. We are passionate about the process of learning and the importance of play. We want to inspire creativity, curiosity and exploration.
