Mission Statement

To provide free and unlimited LGBTQ-affirmative counseling and healing psycho-therapeutic services to youth under 25, their families and their partners in the greater Los Angeles area.

Description

A pioneer in social justice for 150 years, Antioch University Los Angeles launched the nation's first graduate level LGBT-affirmative psychology specialization 15 years ago.
Dedicated to the spirit of LGBT liberation, the specialization helps students effectively address the destructive effects of internalized homophobia, biphobia and transphobia that can be seen as primary causes for depression, anxiety, substance abuse, unsafe sex and other difficult challenges faced by many LGBTQ individuals.
Since COLORS opened it's doors in 2012 we have provided over 5,000 hours of free therapy sessions to LGBTQ youth, their families and partners.
