We are currently recruiting for an AmeriCorps VISTA position to serve Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters in southeast Kansas. This is a Development/Marketing position that will allow us to increase the number of children we serve. In addition to helping us grow our program through recruitment and fund development, the VISTA will gain experience and expertise in the field which will allow for future success. It’s a win-win!
AmeriCorps provides public service opportunities such as VISTA at a low cost to organizations that help eradicate poverty. VISTA is designed to build the capacity of an organization and enhance its ability to serve the community. A VISTA member serves as a catalyst for change, living and working alongside community members to advance local solutions.
