South King County is in need of on call volunteers to help with minor home repair and yard work. Excellent opportunity for a volunteer who needs a flexible schedule. On call requests range from Renton to Enumclaw- you choose which client you would like to serve!
Skilled handy folks are greatly needed to fix or assess home repair issues. Also some outdoor yard help requests are common. Only accept the work you have time for!
Background on Volunteer Services:
Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, assists low-income elders and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair, and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.
Due to the vulnerable population we serve, volunteers must complete an application form, pass a Washington State Patrol check and attend an orientation.

Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. We are a Washington state-wide program, started as a safety net for older adults and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for state-paid chore assistance and cannot afford to hire assistance.
