We are seeking dynamic and experienced Chicago business executives, entrepeneurs, innovators, and creatives to join our advisory board. The advisory board member position is not a governance position, but does communicate with the staff and volunteers throughout our season to provide guidance and ideas. This is a great way to support the arts in Chicago. We screen up to 100 short & feature films from across the globe and host up to 200 industry guests and filmmakers during the second weekend of November. Our films showcase up and coming Chicago talent and film and TV's most notable personalities. As a nonprofit organization we strive to support comedy filmmaking as a vital and influential art form.
Expectations:
- Learn and spread the word about our festival mission with your communities
- Allow us to publicize your name on letterhead and social communications
- Provide volunteer recommendations and fundraising leads
- Attend the annual festival
- Keep informed about plans, activities and needs of the organization via email from June-November
