Internship Overview
This is an unpaid internship. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is flexible, creative and takes initiative. Intern will be a member of the Program Department and will report to the Latino Outreach Coordinator. Most of the work will be during normal business hours though some night and weekend work may be expected. The information below is not meant to be an exhaustive list of job duties or qualifications. Intern may be required to follow other instructions or perform any other duties as requested by his/her supervisor or manager or as required by the intern’s school.
Core Responsibilities
Recruit and support faith outreach volunteers, "Purple Power Champions."
Take the lead in planning "Praise in Purple" activities.
Network in our priority communities, including participating in tabling events and presenting educational programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Comfortable working with diverse groups;
Comfortable using computer and web-based resources;
Self -motivated and able to work independently;
Able to communicate well, both written and oral, in English; additional ability to communicate well in Spanish will be preferred; and
Interest in learning more about a culture of philanthropy; and
Reliable means of transportation.

Minimum Education Requirements
Student must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university.
