It will engage community organizations and partners (ie: hospitals, universities, health centers) and all funds raised support the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)and its mission to find a cure for all 200+ childhood and adult cancers through groundbreaking research. There will be teams of up to 5 people (per bike) all cycling relay-style for the 3-hour session, and with a fundraising goal of $750 per team. Register your team at www.RevolutionsForResearch.org
We need your help to spread the word. Hand out and hang event flyers in local public spaces. Volunteers will receive a list of local gyms, libraries, grocery stores, churches, and restaurants to hang/hand out/drop off a stack of flyers. Keep a list of places visited, and receive a letter for your volunteer hours. Do so over the course of a few days if needed. Meet at 615 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia PA to pick up your flyers, or arrange for a stack to be shipped to you.
