PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The Disaster Onboarding/Placement Lead position oversees the chapter team responsible for the initial interview, placement and onboarding of each new disaster volunteer.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Day-to-Day (\"Steady State\")
•｠ Approximately 8 volunteer hours per month, on-site or from home
•｠ Monthly chapter disaster meetings; Quarterly chapter & regional meetings or teleconferences
•｠ About 8 hours of training per year (in-person and/or on-line)
•｠ Take part in at least 2 drills and exercises per year
•｠ Available some day and evening hours in order to meet new volunteers
During a Disaster (\"operational state\")
•｠ 2-4 days depending on the extent of disaster/ volunteer need
•｠ Typical start time is 8am; end time is 5 or 6pm
•｠ Partial days may be possible
