Have you thought I might like to do that, but im not sure I would like it, have enough time, would be good at it?
If so Give it a try, buy going with another current volunteer to see what its like, if you would like it or other questions you might have.
All we ask it you attend a 60 minute meeting with the Volunteer Coordinator and do one respite visit with another for for a 2-4 hour visit.
If you like it (and many do) then we can find the perfect match for you.
What do you do? Talk, go for a walk, play a game, look at photos, go for a ride, tinker in the garage, watch a movie, listen to music, laugh, play, have fun while making sure the senior or child you are with is safe, so their caregiver can get a mutch needed break.
Spend time with a child, teen or senior.
