HopeMatch is a non-profit serving the Greater Charlotte area. We serve those going through temporary challenges, specifically the working poor, those who often don't qualify for other types of assistance in our community. We have been serving the Charlotte area for over 8 years now!
We have an amazing opportunity for a Board Treasurer position starting July 1st (however we would like to get to know you sooner!). We have plans and processes in place to help with an easy transition. We are looking for someone who is excited and committed to serving their community and enjoys working as a team to accomplish a goal.
The position requires a time commitment of about 5-8 hours a month on average. There are certain times of the year that require more or less. We do have a volunteer bookkeeper that helps the Treasurer with accounting tasks. We do not require previous Treasurer experience, however experience working with small business, strategic planning, and/or finance would be beneficial.

HopeMatch is a local charity serving those who are unseen and underserved in the Greater Charlotte, North Carolina area. We started as a Christmas program, but have grown into much more. While our Christmas program of matching local families in need with people who want to provide personalized Christmas gifts and encouragement to their neighbor is still the heart of what we do, we have expanded our services to address the growing needs of the families we serve. Throughout the year, you will find multiple ways to give financially and volunteer, all while making a lasting difference in your community.
