Volunteers are the heart and soul of Carver Scott Humane Society!
Carver Scott Humane Society is a non-profit, foster based rescue whose mission for the last 30+ years is to connect animals in need with people who care. The Volunteer Coordinator (VC) works closely with the Volunteer Manager to process applications, run background checks, correspond with applicants and assist with orientation. The VC also contributes to the recruiting efforts through use of the CSHS website, social media and community events. Most of the work of the VC can be done remotely.

The Carver-Scott Humane Society is a foster-based 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue incorporated in March of 1989. Our mission is to connect animals in need with people who care. In addition to our foster homes, we have a Cat Adoption Center in our offices in downtown Chaska, MN.

Description

Carver-Scott Humane Society is a foster-based animal rescue that places over 500 animals a year in the homes of loving adopters. With 4 full time staff and 1 part time staff, our team of nearly 100 volunteers are critical to our success.

CSHS has developed a cutting-edge, holistic approach to rescue that involves four pillars:

Trap Neuter Return

Serve Where You Save

Surrender Prevention

Adopters Welcome.
