We are a Down Syndrome support group looking for grants to increase our services to individuals with Down Syndrome and thier families.

We need a Volunteer Bookkeeper to help our grant writers complete our

1.Annual Operating Budget for the current financial year (including revenue and expenses). 2. Current (Year-to-Date) Financial Statements. a) Statement of Financial Position (Balance Sheet) b) Statement of Activities (Income and Expense Statement) through the most recently completed operating month available (must be within the past three months). 3. Year-End Financial Statements 4. Major Contributors List for the past two years, including major public contributors (foundations, corporations, government) and amounts. 5. Annual Report

F.R.I.E.N.D.S. MISSION • To provide vital special needs information, education, and resources, to expectant and new families. • Offer essential support, understanding, and advice to those with Down syndrome and/or other disabilities. • To provide fun activities in a safe and accepting atmosphere where our families and individuals can connect with each other.

Description

A volunteer-based, non-profit 501C3, founded in 2007 by families impacted by Down Syndrome and other special needs. We are committed to offering support, resources, and acceptance to all individuals with special needs and their families. We provide year-round programs, public education, community activities, and volunteer opportunities for those who want to help our special needs community.
