Their Day Foundation Event for Disability Awareness

GiftCards4Change is partnering the TheirDayFoundaton.org The "Their Day" event will provide access to disability resources and community learning of best practices and support services, which occur throughout the Coastal Bend region. This event is intentionally inclusive of all areas of disability or chronic illness to allow individuals to learn about all of the resources available, rather than conducting individual events by diagnosed area. The event will be held at Salinas Park 1354 Airport Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405 on May 27, 2017 from 1pm - 9pm, surrounded by the Miracle League baseball field, so participants can learn about disability resources within a fun and inviting setting, to engage individuals, and to create learning moments or best practices of successful support solutions for those with disabilities. Events such as softball, wheelchair basketball, softball toss, beanbag toss, kickball, art areas, adaptive museum exhibits, free concessions, fireworks, and much more will provide a day everyone can remember and learn about resources along the way.
