The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System provides a continuum of high quality healthcare services to Veterans. Volunteers help the staff by providing the "extras" to make the Veteran’s visit a positive and enjoyable experience. Duty: Safely transport Veterans from their vehicles to the drop off location in front of the hospital using a government shuttle cart. Time commitment: Wednesday or Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Minimum one year commitment. Minimum qualifications: Clean DMV record, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
