Purpose of Position: To process orders of clothing, diapers, and baby equipment in the WestSide Baby ordering system and organize processed orders for provider partner pick ups.

Responsibilities:

This volunteer would fill an essential need in WestSide Baby’s mission. Volunteer would assist Program staff in the preparation and organization of provider partners’ orders for their clients. This includes knowing the ins and outs of WestSide Baby’s online ordering system, inputting data into the ordering system, and organizing orders of clothing, diapers, and baby equipment onto provider pickup shelves. The order processor will gain valuable experience working in a database and collaborating with other volunteers to prepare and process orders. This position also requires great organizational abilities to create efficiency with pickups so provider partners will be able to pick up their orders with ease. The volunteer will need to be able to organize large objects. This position can be physical at times. Will need to be able to lift 25lbs and also have the ability to use a ladder. Volunteers are needed either Monday, Saturday or both.
