Volunteers will be working at the mile 15-16 water station for the marathon and mile 2-3 for the half-marathon- handing out waters to runners and picking up cups from runners on the group. There will be donuts and coffee for the first group, and chips and fruit for the afternoon volunteers. We will be rocking out to music all day! Two shifts are available!

Description
Children’s Cancer Connection, a nonprofit organization based in Des Moines, Iowa (with programming and events in Eastern Iowa as well). We were founded in 1988. We strive to help pediatric cancer patients, who we diagnosed, treated or a living in the state of Iowa, regardless of treatment outcome or years off treatment. We support the entire family through the entire journey by providing services at little-to-no cost for individuals and families.
