Who told you that it was possible? At Silver Lining Mentoring we match youth with mentors who show up time and time for our youth. We are currently in need of dedicated, caring adults to become mentors to youth with foster care experience. You don’t need a special background to be a mentor, just a desire to be a supportive, consistent presence to a young adult who needs stable support as they develop life skills.
Mentors are required to commit 12 months of service and must be at least 21 years old. Your commitment can help us build a community of support around youth in foster care. Join us to learn how you can become a Silver Lining Mentor!

Description
Silver Lining Mentoring is the only mentoring organization in Massachusetts that exclusively serves youth in foster care. Founded in 2001, Silver Lining empowers foster youth in Greater Boston to flourish through committed mentoring relationships and the development of essential life skills. We provide long term one-to-one mentoring and life skills development for young people who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Our volunteer mentors are often the only adults in our youth’s lives who are not paid to spend time with them.
