We have a vibrant Senior Lunch program at our Center 3 times a week, and it's thanks to our volunteers that keep it going!

The Senior Lunch program provides a valuable opportunity for older adults to interact with their peers, get out of the house and socialize, form new friendships, and get at least one nutritious meal on that day. Each meal is reviewed by a Certified Nutritionist, and in some cases will be the only meal the elderly will have. Volunteers get a free lunch too!

We have two openings:

Wednesdays, 10:15am-12:30
We will need a Lunch Host to help plating and serving food to those who come that day (no cooking necessary), and help with clearing tables and kitchen cleanup after the attendees have finished. You will be working with 3 other lovely volunteers and perhaps make new friends!

Thursdays, 10:45-11:45am
We need a Check-In person from 10:15-11:45am. They help with table settings, coffee table supplies, and some light kitchen equipment prep. Then when the doors open, the volunteer would help checking-in attendees who had previously signed up for lunch and take in their donation or payment, and educate the public on the Lunch Program policies where needed.

Come try it out for a month, see if you like it. If you decide to stay, we'd love to have you!
