Summer Reading is a fun annual event we host every year; it is an initiative to get people reading by motivating them with free books, prizes and public programs all summer long!
Our Summer Reading Program begins on Thursday, June 1 and we need you to help manage our public programming, help the public sign-up for Summer Reading and hand out prizes!
We also need help from May 22-31 getting supplies together before it starts, such as filling give-away bags and distributing program calendars to local schools.

The Canyon Area Library aims to serve its patrons with the highest quality of customer service and provide an abundance of free resources such as books, movies, public programming, access to technology, databases, job search help and more.
Description
The Canyon Area Library is a beautiful, spacious building which provides a discount bookstore, a children's play area, study tables, public computers and access to hundreds of books for all ages. Public programming for all age groups is also regularly scheduled in our newly renovated activity room.
