Volunteer to clean up litter with us in Blue River Watershed! We’ll share some information about this watershed, have a short training, and clean up litter behind Walmart in the drainage basin. Working in pairs, we will document litter to discover what’s most often found around businesses. The data will be used to engage and educate businesses to improve the water quality of the Blue River by decreasing litter. This is a pilot program funded by the City of Kansas City, Missouri. Come be a part of this exciting new project!
Volunteers will receive a snazzy "volunteer" t-shirt! We will provide litter grabbers, safety vests, trash bags and gloves.
Min age: 18 and older.
All volunteers must register in advance by completing online registration. Click on registration button below for more details and to register. Immediately after registering, each individual will receive an auto-email confirmation with more details.
