Do you remember moving into your first home? It’s exciting, overwhelming and doesn’t take long to realize you need so much stuff. That’s what many working parents are going through in our community as they move into new homes.
This summer, United Way will provide 300 "Welcome Home" baskets to families in Greater Cincinnati who are engaged in services to change their lives.
We sat down with many of these families to talk through the perfect items to include in a "Welcome Home" basket. Together, we created a great list to help families make their house a home.
How to Help: Through June 21, individuals can donate items for the baskets on their own or coordinate a drive for their workplace, school, or other groups. Sign up below to let us know you are interested, and we will share a list of supplies and the quantities still needed to reach our goal.
Together, we’ll do more for these families than any of us could do alone.
