Street Monitors or traffic control workers at major intersections or side streets directing traffic or watching street barricades along the ten block parade route.
Staging Crew assemble parade entries into proper order along three block-long staging streets for the parade. Monitors safety requirements. (Need previous parade or public event experience).
Decorators help decorate the four announcer's stage platforms.
Clean-up: Managing a team of clean-up people after the parade has ended.
Community service hours are given to students to volunteer.

The Novato 4th of July Parade Committee is made up of many volunteers who plan, promote and operate a home town parade every year on the 4th of July for everyone.
