Are you looking for a fun, flexible teaching opportunity this summer? Then this is the opportunity for you! We need a few volunteers to teach or assist in our evening online ESL classes. Basic info: Schedule: July 6 - Sept 9 (10 weeks) Intermediate ESL: Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30 -8:00 pm - we need a lead teacher and an assistant teacher Beginner ESL: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00 pm - we need an assistant teacher Classes are held on Zoom. You will follow the morning classes' lesson plans, but you have flexibility to make changes for your class. You will use the LIRC's Zoom account, so no need to purchase a pro account. Ideal candidates need to be tech-comfortable (not an expert, but familiar with Zoom basics, PDFs, word docs). US residents only. Colorado residents preferred. If you would like to observe one of the classes, you may join one of our spring term classes via Zoom. We finish this term on June 10. These online classes have become very popular since students don't have to worry about transportation and can easily fit English instruction around their work schedules. Please reply with any questions. Thank you!
