6014 South Datura StreetLittleton, CO 80120

The Littleton Immigrant Resources Center offers legal and educational services to clients who are in the process of obtaining their US citizenship. The LIRC needs volunteers to work one-on-one with clients to help them improve their English or to prepare them for the citizenship test. We will provide training and materials. We match students and volunteers based on their availability. Afternoons, evenings and weekends are popular times for tutors and students to meet. Time requirement per week is 1 hour for language partners (English tutoring), 3 hours for citizenship tutoring. Citizenship tutors must have at least one year of experience teaching or tutoring. Most groups meet at Bemis Library in Littleton, though volunteers may meet their student at any public location.
