Chinese lanterns are coming to Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden this fall! We call these "lanterns," but make no mistake - these are not hand-held, candle-lit lamps. From humble beginnings of silk and paper, the Chinese lantern has evolved into wondrous shapes and sizes. Join us as a volunteer for this culturally exciting and unique experience!
We are looking for volunteers Wednesday - Sunday nights from September 7 - October 29, 2017. Times range between 5:30pm and 9:30pm. If you're interested, please fill out the volunteer application, which can be found here: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=1620056829.
Volunteer positions include indoor and outdoor hosts, activity hosts, docents and more.

Description
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, the Carolinas’ Garden for All Seasons, provides guests a chance to reconnect with nature. Located within 380 acres on the banks of Lake Wylie, spectacular gardens, sparkling fountains, a children’s garden, a conservatory dedicated to the display of tropical plants and orchids, a visitor pavilion, gift shop and nature walks await the visitor. HGTV named it one of the nation’s "20 Great Gardens" and USA TODAY says the Garden is one of the nation’s best places to "welcome fall with a flourish."
