Minneapolis Toy Library on TV!
We were fortunate enough to be featured on the WCCO Morning Show with Kylie Bearse! We had a blast, thanks Kylie!

Thank you for your contribution to this community effort! Lending events wouldn't be possible without your help!

Volunteers help members check toys in-and-out, with our user-friendly, custom-built computer program, as well as keep track of toys in the inventory (counting pieces etc.).

Volunteers also help to re-shelve returned toys and keep the space looking presentable.

Events are fast-paced, fun and family-friendly. Take some time away from the kids and feel good about helping your community.

We have six toy lending events a month, 2-3 hours commitment each. Monday 10am-12pm, Wednesday evening 4-7pm and a Saturday morning 9-12.

Come as often as you like, and stay for 3 hours (or less if need be).

We look forward to meeting you!

Mission Statement

The Minneapolis Toy Library seeks to reduce waste, promote development and build community in the Twin Cities area.

Description

The Minneapolis Toy Library is a toy lending program for families with children ages birth to 5 years.

Like a book library, you can check-out up to five toys, take them home for 2-4 weeks and exchange them for new ones when you return!

Annual membership runs on a sliding scale $40-$100, depending on what works best for your family.

Become a member at one of our lending events, held four times a month, at our space in the basement of the Richfield Lutheran Church, 8 W 60th St. Mpls, 55419.

The toy library offers an opportunity for families to connect with one another while supporting their child(ren)’s development through play and reducing their impact on the environment.
