Every year Families In Schools develops and distributes thousands of summer learning kits for families. This year Families In Schools will distribute 10,000 Passport to Success Kits that will be distribute to public libraries in Los Angeles and Inland Empire. Passport to Success provides families with a learning kit and online resources to explore libraries, museums, and cultural events. The learning kit includes a Family Resource Guide (map) to help families explore the available sites and activities across the two counties, as well as a Passport (stamp book) for tracking their visits. Families that register their summer learning kits through Families In Schools are eligible to receive prizes, participate in weekly scavenger hunts and receive learning tips online.
