Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy invites you to volunteer White Point Nature Center Docents
Saturday, June 17th
9:00 am to noon
Do You enjoy our local nature and want to share it with others? Become a nature center docent!
Volunteer docents will:
-greet and interact with visitors in Center and on the trail
-answer basic questions about the Preserve, local nature, or direct visitor to resources
-assist with preparations for workshops & plant sales
-help with field trips and special events
No experience required, training will be provided.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."
Description
The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
