ORGANIZATION: Phoenix Zoo

Position Summary:

Dinosaur Trail Hosts will be interacting with the public and interpreting information about the animals in our Dinosaurs of the Desert exhibit. Dinosaur Hosts will use biofacts such as: replica raptor claws, skulls, and teeth to help guests make connections between Dinosaurs and animals in our living collections. Dinosaur Trail Hosts will be helping our guests discover the joy and wonder of Dinosaurs in the Desert. Due to the temporary nature of the exhibit, Dinosaur trail hosts will need to choose a different service area to volunteer after the exhibit closes in April 2018.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
  2. Interpret information about dinosaurs and animals in our collection.
  3. Monitor guests along the trail for guests and exhibit safety.
  4. Help guests at the fossil dig site and monitor dig site.
