IT Volunteer

United Planet is looking for a volunteer IT Coordinator, 5-10 hours/week (mostly on a set schedule) for at least 6 months to join our international team in Boston.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To maintain internal network (about 12 computers), including: virus protection, maximization of technology, server maintenance, troubleshooting, education of Team, inventory of software, assessment of needs, backup.
  • To plan future IT strategies

Qualifications:

  • Highly responsible
  • Respectful of confidential information
  • Expertise in Office, Excel, Google Apps, Network Administration
  • Troubleshooting experience - software and hardware
  • Inventory of current software and assessment of needs
  • Security Measures
  • Understanding of network and server issues
  • Implementing backup solutions
