Neighborhood Youth Association is a non-profit after-school program for low-income and at-risk students in Venice. As part of our Youth Leadership high school program, students take elective classes to enrich their educations.
For the first time ever, we would like to hold a Business/Entrepeneurship class to prepare students for real-world success by building an entrepeneurship mindset and skillset by having students prepare, pitch and launch real start-ups.
Instructors would work with the College Coordinator to build their own curriculum for the weekly class that will take place during the school year (September to May). Successful entrepeneurs, start-up employees, and business school students are all welcome!
Our students are driven and motivated to learn new skills to prepare them for success in college and beyond!

Description
NYA offers services that are long term and concentrated, adapted to meet the individual needs of each child and are measured against tangible goals. We have locations in Venice, Mar Vista (West LA), Downtown LA, Mid-City, and South LA/Harbor Gateway.
