Sign up to help out with the Back to School Bash on August 17th from 9:30am-2:30pm. This event is where families have a one-stop destination for fun-filled interactive activities and important information to help prepare children of all ages (Kindergarten - 12th Grade) to go back to school. Help families discover resources, programs and services provided by community agencies and partnerships in their neighborhood.
Volunteers will be needed to help in a variety of different ways such as: set-up, running the information table, giving out tickets for the raffle table, implementing youth activities and more! Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age and those under the age of 16 must have adult supervision present. Volunteers can sign up for shifts by emailing us at volunteer@cornerstonesva.org.

Description
Cornerstones helps individuals and families survive tough economic times in an already high cost-of-living community. Through advocacy and support services, we connect our clients to the vital resources they need to build more self-sufficient lives. Our success comes from a comprehensive array of programs, wrap-around services that solve urgent or on-going requirements for housing, childcare, food or financial assistance all with the goal to sustain healthy families, secure housing, and financial independence.
