Do you love accounting and also love cats? Have we got an opportunity for you! OC Small Paws is a small volunteer-based cat rescue group that rescues cats and kittens from high-kill shelters. We also help with owner surrenders and strays found in the community. Our goal is to foster and socialize the cats in our care as we work to get them into permanent, safe, loving homes. Believe it or not, there is A LOT of paperwork, especially accounting and tax related paperwork, involved in rescue and we need one or two individuals who can devote 2-4 hours per week (preferably set hours or relatively set hours) to get us on track by keeping track of our financial inflows and outflows, as well as file our tax returns (starting next year). All of the above can be done from home as we do not have a "brick and mortar" shelter but instead house 24 adult cats in various Petco locations in Orange County. The rest of our cats and kittens are at different fosters throughout the area.
