Our annual fundraiser, the Sickle Cell Walk-a-thon, is September 16, 2017. The Association is in desperate need of volunteers for the Walk and also our other upcoming events in the community! For example, World Sickle Cell Day is June 19th, where will have a balloon release in honor of our sickle cell members who have passed away. ******WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE CONSULTANT****

Paid, part-time job. 15 hours a week.

Must have at least 6 months of administrative experience.

• Project management.

• Meeting and appointment scheduling.
• Data entry and filing.
• Drafting mass emails and letters for office communication.
• Superb grammar & business writing/typing skills.
• Following up with clients.
• Website & social media management.
• Interpersonal office relationships & collaborations.
• Synchronize personalized details of Walkathon.
• Edit and design promotional material
• Monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Secure sponsorships
• Initiate, coordinate, and participate in all efforts to publicize an event.
• Logistics-registration attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations.
• Kept inventory of backdrops, projectors, computers, and other display materials.
